And the controls are absolutely terrible and not always responsive. You open a container to see clothes inside, you pick up an axe, you re-arrange deer paintings on the wall. I have no idea why I did those things other than give you busy work in a game. You collect freaking antlers!However, the story is actually good. And the atmosphere the game creates in such a short period is also not just good, but immersive (which VR titles should be). You start running along and you feel like the you are the protaganist in the story. Spoiler alert: I felt like Deer Man, I got why I, as the protaganist would feel a sense of keeping up the ethos of the Deer man You don't have to agree with the moral of the story. But I bet if you experienced this game, you will understand the moral of the story. And you will understand why the author is so passionate about it. You'll feel something. And I just have to recommend this game based on the low price and how it makes you feel something. There's definitely more than $2 entertainment value here.Rating 6/10 ... I experienced no crashes or jitters on i7 1060 GTX forget collecting the antlers and you'll enjoy the game more. The game honestly should be on a platform like gamejolt. It took 15 mins to beat (and thats with over exploring) it has no replay value and the game lacks luster in its story and game play. It's not bad but I can't recommended it... Also after 5 mins of playing your eyes will hate you!-Very short-Not Worth the price-Poor controller handling-Lack of settings-Weak story and ending-Strains the eyes-Most of the audio in my opinion was poorly done and pulled from freesounds. EDIT: I did manage to complete the game and achievements after multiple crashes. All crashes occured during chapter 3 - 'The crash report folder named "2018-06-24_121322" next to game executable.'+ Attractive art style+ Good animation+ Good narration and sound- Multiple crashes broke the immersion and made the game almost unplayable- Inaccurate achievement triggering- Poor writing and story- Way to short for what its trying to achieve3/10. Extremely short but charming little interactive story with a poignant message to get across.I am the Deer Man!. Terrible game, not even worth $1, ridiculously stupid storyline, takes 20 minutes to beat, riddled with glitches, crashes and is just a boring game in general. It started out semi-promising, but quickly blew that when they introduced such an atrocious and cliche storyline.. A good choice for anyone looking for a short game with a creepy atmosphere. The controller sensitivity left something to be desired and the game crashed on me once, but since the game was so short, these problems did not become so bad that my enjoyment of the game lessened. I wish that the story was a little more complex, but for the length of the game, it's good. If the creators wanted to expand this into a larger game, there's certainly plenty to work with.
